This assignment ended when the Japanese invaded Malaya and Singapore in early 1942. his contributions fail and after that he have many nightmares and he couldn"t sleep well. He smuggle stolen documents of Japanese plans to take control of India. The documents wre important to the british because they provided information about Japanese troops and their weapons and their plans to attack india.
In 1948, he was awarded the Colonial Police Medal by the Governor of Singapore for his contributions.
